Short Impressions: Catherine Demo (PS3/XBOX360)

This week marks the release of the long-awaited demo for the game Catherine on Playstation Network and XBox Live Marketplace. Pegged as one of the first truly mature and adult games out there, dealing with grownup relationships and commitment as its central theme, coupled together with some sort of challenging block tower puzzle climbing game. The premise of the game is weird enough, but the real game mechanics are simple enough.

Red Box Game Rental Impressions

 Just recently, the vending machine-style video rental service, RedBox, started offering game rentals in their rental kiosks which are just absolutely everywhere these days. In my area alone, there are about five RedBox kiosks in a 5-mile area.

Now, I've never tried RedBox before because of my Netflix subscription that satisfies all my rental neds, but once I heard that RedBox was trying out game rentals in select markets I was excited at the prospect of renting games on the cheap.

Now that game rentals are at RedBox, here are my impressions, yo.

Latest Doctor Who episode features Airman Battle Uniforms

Here's something I found a bit amusing in the latest episode of Doctor Who, "A Good Man Goes to War" (S06E07), features a future militarized church soldiers or "Clerics" wearing the United States Air Force's official uniform--- ABUs or Airman Battle Uniforms.
